Motorola Solutions – Licensed Radios


A Standard 24 months manufacturer’s warranty applies on units only, excluding accessories, against manufacturing defect, limited to repair or replacement of any material found to be defective. Repair or replacement of defective materials, servicing or adjustment, under the terms of our warranty shall be performed free of charge by Tabbara Electronics LLC. Warranty covers the radio only, accessories like antenna, battery, charger cradle and adaptor & belt clip are not included within the Motorola Solutions warranty.


Before sending in your radio for repair, contact our helpdesk team to open a case. 101 troubleshooting will have to be conducted before sending in the units for repair.

TE will evaluate the purchase date and accordingly the repair service will either be billable or included.
Products sent in for evaluation and repair must be packed carefully. Use the original packing materials, if available, and place it inside an additional box. Ship the box and insure your shipment for the full replacement value. The purchaser must include a return shipping label to receive the repaired units after the process is completed.

A cover letter and description of the problem(s) must be included, in as much detail as possible. A daytime telephone number, return shipping address (not a P.O. Box number), and your e-mail address, must also be indicated to facilitate communication.

If the product is found to be not faulty, a charge of 50$USD per unit will be charged to the customer.

If the product is found DOA – Dead upon arrival – TE reserves the right to repair or replace the unit.

Labor charge for repairing out of warranty product will be quoted and must be approved with a PO from the purchaser in order to proceed with the repairs. Spare parts will be chargeable in addition to the labor hours.

Upon exhaustion of remote support options, repair requests are completed within 5 business days from the item is received from the customer and the date of the inspection report issued by the technical department. In the case where the spare parts needed are not in stock, the repair will be completed within 4 to 6 weeks, which is the timeline needed to receive the parts on back-order.


Defects or damage resulting from use of the Product in other than its normal and customary manner.
Defects or damage from misuse, accident, water, or neglect.
Defects or damage from improper testing, operation, maintenance, installation, alteration, modification, or adjustment.
Breakage or damage to antennas unless caused directly by defects in material workmanship.
A Product subjected to unauthorized Product modifications, disassemblies, or repairs (including, without limitation, the addition to the Product of non‐MOTOROLA supplied equipment) which adversely affect performance of the Product or interfere with MOTOROLA's normal warranty inspection and testing of the Product to verify any warranty claim.
Product which has had the serial number removed or made illegible.
Any of the seals on the radio enclosure of cells are broken or show evidence of tampering.
The damage or defect is caused by charging or using the equipment or service with other than the Product for which it is specified, or by using an unauthorized third-party accessory.
A Product which, due to illegal or unauthorized alteration of the software/firmware in the Product, does not function in accordance with MOTOROLA's published specifications or the FCC type acceptance labeling in effect for the Product at the time the Product was initially distributed from MOTOROLA.


Do not operate radio equipment before mounting the antenna correctly.
